Home of the Underground Barbell Club!  Springfield Health and Fitness Center has the largest and best group of powerlifting coaches around. Many are National and World record holders here to help.

The gym holds free classes and seminars for the beginning powerlifter. 

Power lifting is a strength sport that consists of three attempts at maximal weight on three lifts: squat, bench press, and deadlift. As in the sport of Olympic weightlifting, it involves lifting weights in three attempts.

Currently we host 3 NASA Powerlifting Meets a year.  Check “Upcoming Events” for dates and details.
